Please REWORD THE PASSAGE IN A BETTER WAY: The health care industry is the same and different than the other industries in different aspects. It is different from the other industries in that in healthcare the products ill-defined, the result of the care is uncertain, the payments are done by 3rd parties, like private insurers and the government, and the industry`s large segments are dominated by the providers who are not after profits. A number of these factors, however, exist in the other industries too, but not all factors are present in the other industries. The communication of such factors is what makes the industry of health care to be unique. Furthermore, the health care industry is like the other industries since many players such as providers and consumers respond to incentives like other industries. Health care industry consists of companies that can provide diagnostics, goods and services, preventive, remedial, therapeutic services like doctors, nurses, government agencies and voluntary agencies. It also contains therapeutic equipment and health insurances also. The health care industry also called the Medical industry or a healthy economy. The differences in the health care industry with other industries affect individuals in different ways. Since the consumers of the health care services are uncertain of the results of health care services, their purchases and consumption are affected by the uncertainty. They can be forced to buy or seek other services from other providers when the services do not meet their expectations. Also, the differences affect consumption of health care by individuals in that they need to be present for them to buy and use the services for the individual who selects and purchases the service or product is the same individual who consumes and pays for it. This is different to other industries where an individual can buy a product on behalf of another person. The healthcare system can be made better by ensuring that the patients get examined thoroughly before they are prescribed with drugs to avoid an instance where they purchase drugs that do not meet their expectations. Also, technology can be used to improve the service delivery in addition to allowing remote prescription so that all stakeholders can benefit.

Answer #1

Medicine Industry

The industry which is serving for your health is not the same as other industries are like, they may be same in some aspects but differences are more. Unlike other industries medical products are ill-defined to the customers the results are not fixed, the consumer is not levied for the payment which are done by insurance and the government. Generally the medicine producers or any health care service provider does not aims at profit maximization the consumer satisfaction is more focused.

Few of such symptoms can be noticed in other industries as well. There is communication of factors that make the health care industry unique. In addition, the health care industry is like other industries because many players, such as providers and consumers, respond to incentives like other industries and the insurers are also included.

The service provided to the consumer of the healthcare services are uncertain with respect to the results this makes the healthcare industry different from others sometimes the consumer is required to change the service provider when does not meet the expected results. Unlike other products it is not like someone can make a purchase on behalf of someone else, the direct consumption is made in this regard.

The health care system can be further improvised by ensuring that the patients should be examined thoroughly before deciding the prescription so that they can avoid drugs where they buy such medicines that do not meet their expectations. Additionally, allowing remote prescription technology can be used to improve service delivery so that everyone can be benefited.
