The African slaves brought with them following aspects of their culture to the United States-
1- The animated language that very simple to communicate was transferred gradually to the United states.
2- Enriched proverbs and the moral/ ethical teachings were sowed in the US.
3- Traditional dances, indigenous music and drumming followed by the rituals were other significant aspects.
4- Sculpting, craft and visual arts were revitalised and injected in America's life.
5- A good percentage of US food is having its roots in the African cuisines.
6- The spiritual practices of Africans got blended through their traditional facets in the Christianity in the US.
7- African medicines after an occasional usage got diffused in the US.
Most of these attributes of the African cultures were initiated during the sea voyages. For example, the slaves were instructed to dance by the sailors for entertainment and get relieved from the routine boredom.
Contemporary dance practices in the US resemble much with the native African dances, including the secondary purpose of exercise.
Religious/ spiritual practices, praying ways, cuisines, craft and artistic work reflects some or more sort of the African impression. With the impact of liberalisation and privatisation, some of these aspects have been stirred/ altered but the essence can still be experienced.
