The Law of Conservation of Energy insists that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. Is there any hope for us to create energy on earth with available resources? What is Dark Energy? How does it fall into the category of energy creation? Not meaning transformation.

It is not possible to create any kind of energy no matter what resources you have. It is not yet clear how the energy already existing in the universe was created, but all observations in nature tell us that energy can not be created or destroyed, only transferred. For example, work is a way of transferring energy into a system by applying force during a certain distance; mechanical waves transfer energy by propagating a disturbance through a medium; heat transfers energy through a temperature difference between two or more regions in space. Dark energy is a hypothesis that tries to explain why the universe expands in an accelerated way and it is not yet clear what its nature is and how it really affects the matter that forms the universe.
