The four goods movements are goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfer, and transfer posting. Goods receipt records the receipt into storage resulting in an increase of inventory. Goods issue is used when the materials are removed from storage. Stock transfer is used when materials are moved from one location to another. Transfer posting is used when there is a change of a material type or status. Goods movements are related to movement types because every goods movement needs a movement type, such as what type of movement is happening, the information of the movement, and specific updates
