John is pushing an 50 kg box. Fs max is found to be 125 N and the normal force is 490 N. The coefficient of static friction is 0.255. Say that while John is pushing the box, Sally who you happen to know is 80 kg sits on top of the box. The new normal force is found to be 1274 N. Sally then holds a present of an unknown mass and the new Fs max is 450 and coefficient of static friction is 0.353.

Draw a free body diagram.

What is the total mass of the box + person + present system?

What is the mass of the present?

Explain :)
