Answer #1

Economic sector "Goods, excluding agriculture" in U.S. will see an increase in the employment between now and 2022. Based on the recent development in the economy if US, a lot of emphasis is going towards the manufacturing sector. US econimy is seeing a lot of backward integration happening in coming years. The revolution of Shale Gas is continue to add a lot of impetus to the manufacturing sector in US. It has already transformed US from major oil importing nation to an oil exporting nation with lot capacity still to be explored and will add to the employement in sectors related directly or indirectly on it.

With the trade restrictions & duty increase on item sourced from primarily from "China", a lot of possibility is there to manufacture a portion of goods earlier imported in US itself (as it would be ecomonical to produce in US after increase inimport duty). This would again help in pushing the employment in the goods manufacturing in US.

Trupm administration is also pushing hard in making US economy less dependent on imports & making it more self reliant in goods manufacturing.

Thus we can conclude that Economic sector "Goods, excluding agriculture" in U.S. will see an increase in the employment more compared to other sectors between now and 2022.
