Background correction is more important when the concentration of the analyte is very low.

I'll explain the reason below

There is a term called signal to noise ratio the greater the difference in signal and noice it is better. So that we can distinguish between signal and noise easily

When the concentration is low the noise interference has a large impact on it as the signal output Is also low and if we don't correct the noise the signal interpretation becomes difficult

So

background correction is more important when the concentration is very low.
