Short term effects of Stress- Muscles of body suddenly tense up and released whon stressor gone.Breathing gets hard and faster.Heart rate increases and blood vessels dilates,nausea,vommiting are common.
Long term effect of Stress-It effects the memory of brain when becomes chronic.Long term stress increases chances of cancer.Increases heart attack chances,Weight gain gradually.Mutation in DNA may be occur due to mental stress over a long time.It also effect sexuality. Person seems to be of more age then he or she is.
Effects of stress on immune system- When an individual has stress it decreased the immune system capability to fight from diseases.Person becomes more vernurable.Example is AIDS and Coronary Heart Disease.
