1) if predators are removed the primary consumers increase in number rapidly since there is no control on their growth rate so these herbivores consume more ofthe primary producers ( plants ) leading to depletion of the food recouce for them so the herbivores cannot survive due to lack of food so the answer is

d) Overeating by herbivores could have caused depletion of the primary producers, leaving the herbivores without enough food.

2) when consumer at the apex is removed then the number of organisms in the level below it increases ( because apaex consumer eats the organisms in the level below it, when apex consumer is removed this leads to increase in the m=number of organisms in the lower level) this leads to decrease in the number of organism in the next lower level, that is alternate levels number of organisms increase and decrease so all trophic levels are affected so the answer is d) all of the above

3) primary producers convert energy of sunlight to chemical energy in the bonds of sugars thriugh photosynthesis then primary consumers consume them then secondary consumers consume them so energy flows so the answer is
