  • Market channel for galaxy s9

The best marketing channel for these kinds of product would be social media with a hope to attracting more number of best customers. The social Medias would include twitter, facebook etc. as these groups are engaged by more number of young generation people. These kinds of products are more interesting to people of younger generation rather than old generation people. This may be due to the way the product is designed, the features the product has etc.

The product has been specifically for visual & social generation.

  • Design of the product:

The product has various features like improved cameras, an artificial intelligence powered voice tool & also social media functions that are easier to deploy than the earlier versions of the product.

  • Marketing strategy:

The most important aspect of marketing strategy of galaxy s9 is its differentiation. The product has many different features that is used to create an innovative experience which makes the product to stand out of crowd & draw attention from others.

  1. Digital marketing: Samsung usually uses its website to promote its products. It also relies heavily on digital technology to promote its products. But due to the growth of online retail, a large part of the sales takes place online. The product also has its accessories with other e retailers like flip kart, alibaba etc.
  3. Price mix: this product is considered to be for premium users. The brand uses a premium strategy for its large screen. The prices of these models are $719.99, $769.99 &$839.99. The premium pricing strategy is related to the premium experience that S9 offers.
  4. Promotion mix: Digital channels are the most prominent in the promotions mix of Galaxy S9. Apart from media and technology blogs as well as paid advertising, Samsung has used some other channels too for promotion of its Galaxy S9. Apart from that e-retail brands that sell these Galaxy smart phones have also played an important role in the marketing of S9.
