My position- General Manager

My country- Japan

Industry- Pharmaceuticals.

Let suppose the US based pharmaceutical company named as XYZ Pvt. Ltd. As being a Multinational Corporation it has several regional offices in different nation. As being at a position of General Manager I have got transferred to Japan to look after the working of XYZ Industry.

Before joining the as General Manager in respected pharmaceutical industry i would like to go through the following points:

1. Availability of medical facility such as hospitals, medical clinics, medical camps, Pharmacy store.

2. Socio-Economic condition of people of Japan.

3. Purchasing pattern of people.

4. Rival competitors in the market.

5. There production techniques and price of product charged.

So, being a G.M of the mentioned MNC it is my prime responsibility to look after the prevailing socio-economic and market condition. To know about the market condition of Japan, i have gone through the medical conditions such as availability of medical facilities, hospitals, medical camps which is the most important part of survey for an pharmaceutical company. All this research has been done through secondary source or is secondary data based. after gathering the information about medical facilities i have gone through the economic conditions of Japanese i.e how much they are likely to spend on their medical well-being because the production can only be done when you are known with the purchasing pattern and demand of your customer. after getting purchasing pattern it is an important part to look after the competitors in the market and the price they charge for there product. The profit will only be made when company is going to offer relatively cheap price with effective quality of medicines.

After concerning all the above points it is the responsibility of company to follow cost-effective technique for production to earn maximum profit and benefits but being a pharmaceutical company the major role is to maintain the quality of medicine which should never be compromised in any situation.
