The major drawback of using behaviorism over introspection is the fact that behaviorism focuses on observational learning from the social and environmental spheres whereas introspection focuses on the reflection of one's own action, strengths and weaknesses. Behaviorism can hinder the ability to look within oneself and improve one's drawbacks as it is focused on external observation of behavior, which can provide lesser heed to internal feelings and factors.
