Condensation reaction is the one where 2 reactants react to form products with the elimination of water molecule or other simple molecules. Double condensation reaction doesn't always mean that there should be elimination of 2 water molecules. It can be one water molecule and other simple molecule as well. The simple molecules eliminated also depends on the type of the reactants used for the condensation reaction.
