Solution :

There are three groups, namely depression group, anxiety group and mood disorder groups. And researcheers want to study the psychological well-being between these groups.

The one-way anova analysis would be the most appropriate analysis for the given design. In one-way anova we use F test statistic to compare the means of more than three groups. By using the F test statistic of one-way anova we can know that, whether the psychological well-being of the three groups are same or not.
