The above claim is the average student of VGCC watch 3 hours of tv. It doesn't mean that on average, the person of the same group watches 3 hours of tv. The people of the same age outside VGCC may not be a student or do have another profession

To estimate the estimate of the number of hours an average person of this group watch, we should collect a sample from VGCC and outside VGCC and then apply t test to check the claim
