Answer #1

Initial speed of the motorcycle = V1 = 0 m/s (At rest)

Speed of the motorcycle after 9.72 sec = V2 = 21.6 m/s

Time period = T = 9.72 sec

Acceleration of the motorcycle = a

V2 = V1 + aT

21.6 = 0 + a(9.72)

a = 2.222 m/s2

Radius of each tire = R = 0.298 m

Angular acceleration of each tire =

a = R

2.222 = (0.298)

= 7.46 rad/s2

Magnitude of angular acceleration of each tire = 7.46 rad/s2
