I am doing an experiment to find out the content of phosphate
composition in cola beverage by UV-visible spectrophotometry and pH
titrimetry
And I find the different:
7.05 x 10-3 (from UV-visible spectrophotometry) - 6.32 x 10-3 (pH titrimetry)
=7.3 x 10-4 M
Why there is such a difference for concentration using UV-visible
spectrophotometry was greater than pH titrimetry? Thank You.
Ph terimetry was not so efficient method due to external reagents like indicator which can affect the result.
