Dear Experts,

I need brief conclusion (1-2 paragraph) for each subjects and overall recommendation on topic "Cultural Differences their role in management" and based on following interviews.

Proper answer will be appreciated!

Question 2 – What are the key challenges in multinational management?

Subject 1 - One key challenge is understanding the multiple cultures around you. Doing this involves taking an active interest in the people of the workplace, no matter how diverse it may be. All too often managers are more focused on the tasks and work detail yet less attentive to the human influences around them. To be be specific, when a manager from the East travels to the west and accepts a Management position, they are less concerned with cultivating relationships with the people as they are getting the job done. As a result, they work hard and do well, however never really establish a connection with the people, which could increase the challenge of overcoming cultural differences rather than the opposite.

Another key challenge is being in compliance with cross-national policies. When trying to manage across cultures, it's not so easy to make moves company-wide without "crossing the line" in other countries. For example, restructuring contracts at the midpoint may be acceptable in one country but considered a violation in another. That can be avoided by allowing a significant period of time - perhaps 30 days - of follow through with government officials before fully implementing policies. As far as improving the relationship between 'outside' Managers and staff, Management can implement "ice breaker sessions" where discussions are held about things other than work, and specific to multicultural understanding.

Subject 2 - The key challenges are dealing with diversity between countries. What's commonly acceptable in one country could be offensive in another. You need to have a plan in place to identify this issue before further engaging in matters

Subject 3 - Some of the key challenges in a multinational work environment involve language barriers that cause miscommunication, individuals that harbor unknown and unfair prejudices toward others who are different from them, and difficulty developing a team environment where individuals are uncomfortable working with others.

With globalization, diversity in workplace is inevitable. In the above mentioned paragraphs, there is some key challenges related to the cultural differences at work place.

Managing business in entirely different culture is very much difficult as there will be different languages, policies of business, new rule and regulations and such more things. Any business can't be work properly without having effective and concentrated employees, due to cultural differences some managers didn't communicate with their employees and have their full focus on work only, this will create a type of miscommunication among employees and employers as employees will be unable to convey their messages to their employers and employers will be unable to understand the thinkings, need and situation of their employees.

There were different policies, working styles, rule and regulations for business and related workings for different countries or places, so manager should firstly understand the working culture and rules of any new culture after entering in it, so that an effective management can run throughout the business.
