Accuracy :

Accuracy refers to the closeness of a measured value to a standard or known value.

OR

It is defined as the degree to which the result of a measurement conforms to the correct value.

Precision :

It is defined as the closeness of two or more measurements to each other.

Systematic Error :

An error having a non-zero mean, so that its effect is not reduced when observations are averaged is called systematic error.

Random Error :

Unpredictable change during an experiment is called random error.

Variance :

It uses to measure the dispersion in the data.

It measures the spread of the data from their average value.

Regression Analysis :

Regression analysis is the set of procedures which js used in statistical modelling. In statistical modelling, we establish the relationship between the dependent and independent variables.

Thus, regression analysis is the branch of statistics in which we deal with the establishment of relationship between dependent and independent variables.

Method of Least Square :

In regression analysis, method of least square is one of the method which is used to fit the data.

In this method, we fit the data by minimizing the sum of squares.

Method of Standard Additions :

The method of standard additions is a quantitative analysis method, which is often used when the sample of interest has multiple components that result in matrix effects, where the additional components may either reduce or enhance the analyte absorbance signal.

Sensitivity :

It is defined as the degree of change in a dependent variable in response to change in an independent variable on which it is dependent.

OR

Sensitivity is the property of a test which leads to positive answer when the person has the disease.

Detection Limit :

Detection limit is defined as the lowest limit which leads to a conclusion about an experiment.

Linear Dynamic Range :

The linear dynamic range (LDR) is the range over which ion signal is linear with analyte concentration.
