1. strategic planning influences day-to-day business because it can be used to preformance of the business, increase productivity, and eventually increase sales. When the the strategic planning is poorly done, it can take a to accross multiple faces of the business. It can negatively affect things l morale, customer satisfaction, and create more pressure to preform in t economy. The systems analyst should understand a company's strategic plan in order to follow a plan to improve the company.

2. SWOT analysis is is a tool that strategic analysts use to understand the logical opportunities that a company can can take to reach it's goals. Th has proved usefull to assist managers to understand which strengths to i to increase the overall preformance of the company. The strengths of Kroger it's friendly staff, an information system that makes for an easier process preform ordering, payroll,e-learning, and checking out. One of the main weekneses of the system is primarily a human error, and that is managers staff not updating inventory levels so the system can make an accurate order.

3. Assessing and evaluating user requests is usually done by systems review committees. Since a committee involves many individuals, it allows them to put their heads together and come up with good solutions for the input given to them by users. This also helps to avoid bias and delay, since the committees can meet not only in person, but on the phone and through e-mail.

4. A project’s scope defines the boundaries, or extent, of the project as specifically as possible example, the statement, “Payroll is not being produced accurately” is too general, compare the statement, “Overtime pay is not being calculated correctly for production workers on t second shift at the Yorktown plant.” Similarly, the statement, “The project scope is to mod accounts receivable system” is not as specific as the statement, “The project scope is to all customers to inquire online about account balances and recent transactions.” A constraint, or requirement, is a condition that the system must satisfy or an outcome that system must achieve. A constraint can involve hardware, software, time, policy, law, or co Constraints can be classified as present versus future, internal versus external, and mandatory versus desirable. Constraints are present or future depending on whether the constraint mu met as soon as the system is developed, or modified at some future time. Constraints are in or external, depending on whether the constraint arises from within the organization or fro external force, such as a government regulation. Constraints are mandatory or desirable depending on whether the constraint is absolutely essential, or merely desirable. An example of a mandatory, external, future constraint might be a government tax reporting requirement that goes into effect next year. An example of a discretionary, internal, present constraint might be a management decisions.
