This was possible by having the nonprofit coalition (i.e. the sustainability consortium). Walmart worked towards all its product which should help to maintain the sustainability index. Thus, this helped Walmart to initiate goodwill with the consumers and in turn continue to improve upon the stakeholder relationships. Walmart made efforts to showcase themselves as an ethically responsible organization.
