Consider the problem of technology (robots, machines, computers) taking over human jobs. To what extent is this problem rooted in one or another form of inequality -- such as income, rights, opportunities, or access to essential services -- in society? Does this problem produce outcomes -- such as benefits for some or burdens for other people -- that are distributed unequally in society?

Answer- The increasing use and advancements in technology may have made our lives easier and more convenient, however, they have also caused more harm than good in certain aspects. According to studies, technology has already taken over 90% of human jobs. This has caused a lot of chaos amongst individuals losing their jobs over technological replacements. Labour and manual jobs like long-haul truck drivers have been replaced by driverless vehicle technology, customer service, and office assistants have been replaced by Duplex, an AI robot that's capable of making calls to clients, having conversations with humans, and setting up appointments. These are a few out of the many jobs that have been taken over by technology.

This issue gives rise to other issues such as lesser employment opportunities, lesser human rights, lower-income, etc. This rise in technology taking over human labor may be beneficial to the customers in the aspects of convenience and efficiency, however, it has gravely affected those who have lost their jobs to technological replacements.
