the current output in the pressure-type level sensor is directly proportional to the measured input. the relation can be written as

where k is the constant of proportionality.

the complete range of pressure is 0-4 psi., and that of the output current is 0-20mA

hence the pressure of 4 psi would give 20 mA of output current.

putting this in the above equation we get,

now in the equation that we got, putting the value of the given pressure 3 psi
