How can I calculate the Concentraition (M) with this table? (Beer- Lambert Law)
concentration(M) | Absorbance(no units) | Lamda(max)(nm) | |
reference | 0 | 0 | |
#1 | 1.01 | 640nm | |
#2 | 0.50 | 640nm | |
#3 | 0.26 | 640nm | |
#4 | 0.12 | 640nm | |
#5 | 0.08 | 640nm | |
Unknown | 0.72 | 640nm |
The cuvette is 1cm.
and the first experiment(#1, I use the 20mL of 1*10^-5 M blue
dye.
Each time, I use the pipet to transfer 10mL of solution from #1 and
add 10mL water.
And don't know the first condition about the unknown.
I don't know how to use the lambda max to the Beer-Lambert
Law.
Help me please .

the Lambert-Beer law relates the absorption of light with the concentration and physical properties of a substance. 5 µl of a stock protein solution was diluted to 700 µL with water in a cuvette. the absorbance at 280 nm was 0.24. the extinction coefficient ξ for the protein is 10.3 mM^-1cm^-1. what is the molar concentration of the original stock protein solution? what is the concentration of the protein solution in µg/µL if the protein molar mass is 35348 Da.
is there anyway to calculate the absorbance from beer-lambert law? Extinction coefficient = 82 mm-1 concentration = 3.2 mw = 17 dA
Beer lambert law. Simple Q Can some one find the molar absorbitiy "e" for the 1,1'-diethyl 2,2'-cyanine iodide. ( SEE DATA BELLOW AND CALCULATIONS) and the theoretical value and explain where there is a diffrence between them. Thank you so much. 3) Compare the experimental and literature values of ε (dye I only). Do you notice any discrepancies between these values? solve all 3 dont waste my answer 1. Check Beer's Law by plotting absorbance vs molar concentration using 2. Is Beer's Law valid for this system? Explain your answer. 3. If Beer's Law is valid, the value of "E" should be constant. Use A-ECPL or E = A/(EL) and the data from Table II to calculate values of E for the five solutions below. The value of L is normally 1 cm so E - A/C in this experiment. Table...

I need help on how to find the atmospheric pressure from the scatter plot and trend line I made with the results from my Boyle's Law lab. I don't know if my scatter plot is correct. I need the atmospheric pressure in order to fill in Table 5 and answer some questions. 24. Use the data in Data Table 1 and Data Table 3 to create a scatter-plot graph of 1/Average Volume vs. Pressure; with “1/Average Volume (mL-1)” on the...
