Q2: System and its components:

      These are the major hardware components of a computer system:

  • Input devices -> Input devices to help users enter data and commands into a computer system. Data can be in the form of numbers, words, actions, commands,voice etc. The main function of input devices is to direct commands and data into computers. Computers then use their CPU(Central Processing Unit) to process this data and produce output on Output devices. For example, a laptop’s keyboard is an input unit that enters numbers and characters. Similarly, even a mouse can be an input unit for entering directions and commands. Examples of input devices are keyboards, mouse, scanners, digital cameras and joysticks.
  • Output devices -> Output devices are nothing but the processing of data, it is converted into a format which humans can understand. After conversion, the output units displays this data to users. Examples of output devices include monitors, screens, printers and speakers.
  • CPU(Central Processing Unit) ->

    C P U is nothing but the brain of the computer.A central processing unit is the electronic circuitry within a computer that carries out the instructions of a computer program by performing the basic arithmetic, logical, control and input/output operations specified by the instructions.

    Basically it performs task or initiates any command.

  • Memory(Storage) ->Memory is used to store the data(information) and to load.There are so many types of memories are,some of the are Secondary memory(Hard drives,pendrive,memory cards),main memory RAM(Random access memory),ROM(Read only memory).

Q3:

Decimal Numbers are 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.

  • The range of 4-digit decimal numbers is nothing but total no.of numbers in between smallest 4-digit decimal number and the Largest 4-digit decimal number.So therefore the range is from 1000 to 9999,totally the count is 9 * 10 * 10 * 10 = 9000.
  • The biggest 4-digit decimal number which is also the last 4-digit number is 9999 .
  • The smallest 4-digit decimal number which is also the last 4-digit number is 1000.

Q4:

  • Given decimal number is (65630)10 .
  • We have to convert it into Hexadecimal Number, Octal and Binary Number.

      Decimal To Hexadecimal Number:(65630)10 = (1005E)16

     

      Decimal To Octal Number:(65630)10 = (200136)8

     

      Decimal To Binary Number: -> (65630)10 = (10000000001011110)2
