Choose five objects that you would bring if you were going to spend a year on an undeveloped, deserted island. No electricity, no ready-made shelters, no YouTubeTM! Which five objects would you bring, and explain your choices.
Knife- It is must for a survivor who has to be stranded for a year on an island.Knife can cut trees, branches, fruits, fishes and other sea foods, to dig the land surface if water is not available alongwith it, it can be used for self defence too
Rope- It is necessary to catch fishes and other sea foods, it can be used for making temporary shelter.
Firesteel- Fire is one of the most necessary element for a human being to survive. Fire can cook food, give protection from wild and lethal animals, and most importantly provides heat in freezy nights
Blanket or bedsheet- A blanket or a bed sheet or any big piece of cloth to cover the body during night.
Antibiotics- In my case, they are as important as food and water because they can protect the human body from allergies and illness in a deserted island where no medical help is available.
These are the five things that can be taken to a deserted island for surviving a year.
These things can be substituted with these five if allowed so-
1.Farms
2.Government
