One way analysis of variance is basically a method that is used in order to see if there are any significant differences between the means of the unrelated groups. "It is a method of testing the equality of three or more population means by analyzing sample variances"(Triola, M, 2018).

what is the main difference between one-way analysis of variance and two-way analysis of variance?

The main difference is that one way analysis of variance has three or more categorical groups and two way analysis of variance compares multiple groups of two factors. One way has 1 independent variable and two way has 2 independent variables and one way should always have three or more groups of sample and in two way each variable should have multiple samples.

I agree with the description given in the both the part 1 and part 2.

Generally we go for ANOVA when we have to compare 3 or more than 3 means at a time. In one way ANOVA we have one independent variable where as in two way anova we have to independent variables.

In one-way ANOVA, the one factor or independent variable analyzed has three or more categorical groups. And in two-way ANOVA we compares multiple groups of two factors.
