How would you apply the transformational theory leader-member theory (LMX) to improve an organization's performance? Transformational Leadership theory

I would apply transformation leadership theory in my organization by formulating a vision for an organization quickly leading to improved performance. Transformational leadership enables quick formation of an organization vision. This is because it is able to assess the current situation in the organization and formulate visions that improves performance and growth. I would apply transformational leadership theory in my organization by communicating the visions that has been formulated to other leaders in the organization efficiently to increase information flow.

I would use transformational leadership theory to promote enthusiasm among the employees in my organization. This will ensure that I create enthusiastic work environment which would drive an organization with changes and innovations. Transformational leadership theory uses inspiration to motivate employees and other members of the organization . I would use transformational leadership theory to inspire people and motivate them to work hard and achieve their individual goals as well as the overall organization goals. The transformational leadership integrates the ability to motivate employees and inspire to the produce results and improve their performance.

Leader-Member theory

I would apply the leader member theory in my organization to create a special working relationship with other employees and to ensure we cooperate in order to meet the organizational goals. Leader member theory encourages cooperation between the leaders and the members which enable creation of special working relationship. The knowledge of Leader-member theory (LMX) would help me become a better leader because I would be able to establish a relationship with my followers. It will be able to assess the abilities of members and assign them opportunities to prove themselves. Leader-member theory (LMX) would enable me to negotiate informally on certain issues related to the work environment.
