Force on a charged particle in a magnetic field is given by

F = q × v × B

Where q is the charge on charged particle

V is the velocity of charged particle.

B is the magnetic field strength.

Since the potassium uon is at rest which means velocity is 0 .

Therefore, according to the formula stated above , the magnetic force on potassium ions which at rest = 0 Newton.
