What is the Theory X (traditioanl hierarchial) approach to management, and why does it ignore the importance of job autonomy?

I work at an FM station and our manager definitely has a theory X based management terms. He dislike each and every employees work and usually keep directing us even if we are doing good. Consistently directing us for taking the responsibility as well as directing for approaching the project in a better way is his main criteria of Operation Management. He is a core supervisor and keeps a keen eye on each and every employee of the organisation.
As a prime quality of an theory X based manager he always keep himself as a threatened and forceful supervisor to d make us deliver the specific outcomes whatever you want. He has a strong ability to provide records on the basis of total performance achieved.
All of these is basic behaviours directly align with a theory X manager and this type of managerial approach is very usual in our organisation has most of the managers are with the similar qualities and capabilities. These manager follow authoritarian style of managing the organisation.
Initially the employees are very reluctant to the Managing style of the specific manager but as the time passes in the organisation, employees get used to his managerial style and do not take the harsh comments authoritarian style in in the similar way they used to take initially. This specific type of approach enables employees to focus on the work rather than focusing on authoritarian approach by the manager. As employees get adequate rewards, which provides better understanding of authoritarian managerial style of manager and keeps the organisation efficient.
