In bacteria a very important type of cell signalling is the 2 component signalling that involves 2 amino acids namely the aspertate and histidine this is done mainly by the transport of the phosphate from the histidine to the aspartate residue and that ultimately causes the signalling to occur this signalling leads to quarum sensing.
