What if plants had triple fertilization and two sperm fertilized two eggs while the other sperm fertilized the polar nuclei? Would this be a super plant or would this plant be at a disadvantage? Explain.

This type of plant would be at a super plant. It is because, generally one haploid sperm fuses with a haploid egg and forms a diploid zygote. But in this case two haploid sperms are fusing with two haploid eggs, which would result in a tetraploid zygote.

This tetraploid zygote will sure turn into a super plant.
