Personally, i found health psychology as the most interesting contemporary area because of the following reasons-

Health psychology is a fraternity that deals with the psychological facets allied with the health of the human beings.

The probable positive or negative implications of the way of thinking, beliefs, habits etc of a person are analsyed, studied and further utilised for creation of holistic health outcomes.

The root reasons behind the acceptance and following the medical advices and on other hand, neglecting or denying medical advices can also be comprehended.

The health habits that lead to drastic problems when a person grows older can be traced and modified with a preventive vision through health psychology endeavours.

A sound psyche/ emotional balance indeed affects the state of health hence there are well organised efforts in health psychology to blossom sound psyche.
