  1. Classify each sample as Simple Random Samples, systematic, stratified, or cluster.
    1. CBE dean wants to select 10 professors to attend a conference. He has decided to have an equal number of delegates from each department. Therefore, he randomly selected two professors from each department.
    2. From the first 10 customers entered in a mall, the 6th customer was randomly selected to know his/her favorite store. Then every 6th of each 10 customers was selected to ask the same question.
    3. From all departments of UAE University, two departments have been randomly selected and all students of these two departments were asked for their learning satisfaction rate.
    4. Nursing supervisors are selected using random numbers in order to determine annual salaries.
    5. To estimate the average salary of the UAE University professors, you have randomly selected a sample of 25 professors.

a) Stratified sampling. ( each deparment is considered as strata and then two prfessors are selected from each strata randomly)

b) Systematic sampling. ( every 10th customer is choosen)

c) Cluster sampling. ( departments are ckusters and 2 dept. are selected randomly)

d) Simple Random Sampling ( each nursing supervisor has an equal chance of being selected)

e) Simple Random Sampling. ( each professor has an equal chance of being selected)
