Answer #1

Answer: The evolutionary changes are those that take place gradually at a slower pace and are irreversible in nature. On the other hand the revolutionary changes are those that take place rapidly and they are generally reversible in nature. The revolutionary changes are mostly caused by the external factors while the evolutionary changes take place due to internal factors. The re engineering is becoming one of the most popular instrument of change today because it brings a fundamental change in terms of thinking and can help in redesigning the process so that the dramatic improvements are brought in the performance. It facilitates the change process by developing new and better business processes and brings a number of benefits to the organizations like the increased revenues, faster processing times, reduced costs and better customer service. All these factors make it a popular instrument for change in the modern organizations.
