(a) With the increase in the number of people in each sample (i.e with the increase in sample size), the value of the t-statistic of the independent measures t-test increases and hence the corresponding p value decreases

(b) With the increase in size of variance for each sample, the value of the t-statistic of the independent measures t-test decreases and hence the corresponding p value increases

(c) With the increase in difference between the two sample means, the value of the t-statistic of the independent measures t-test increases and hence the corresponding p value decreases
