Population 1 : Women : n1 = 120 , x1 = 102

Population 2 : Men : n2 = 150 , x2 = 132

Using the P-value approach: The p-value is p = 0.2356, and since p = 0.2356 ≥ 0.05, it is concluded that the null hypothesis is not rejected.

  • P value = 0.2356

Note :

If we round z score to two decimals i.e., Z = -0.72 ( LEFT TAILED )

we get p value = 0.2358

So round z score according to your answer
