According to Fiedler ,there are three situational components that determines favorable for leaders:
1.Leader- Member relations -If there exist a good relations between the leader and the team members i.e If there is a feeling of respect ,honesty,trust among the team members for their leader .In other words,if they abide by every rules,decision of their leader without giving any second thought.Then this would develop a favorable situation for the leader.
2.Task structure-It refers to the task which has been allocated to the team members.In order to create a favorable situation for the leader,it is necessary that the task allocated to the team members should be defined in proper terms ,it should be clear like crystal ,no confusion should be there among the team members in respect of their group task .
3.Leader Position Power-It refers to the amount of power vested in the hands of leader ,if the leader has been given adequate powers to take decision in respect of reward,punishment ,then there are more chances that team members would take him seriously and which ultimately brings a favorable conditions for the leader.
