The term APPLE stands for, Ariane Passenger Payload Experiment.

Apple Inc. is an American based company which is multinational technology based company headquartered in Cupertino, California. It is established to design, develop, and sell consumer electronics, computer software and online services. It is considered as one of the Big Four of technology along with the top companies named as, Amazon, Google and Facebook.
