The Apple has lost its significant share in the Chinese market with the advent of much more durable and quality smartphones available at a very low cost as compared to Apple leading the consumers to highly prefer the newly launched low-cost high features smartphones. The increase in these competitors to Apple has led to decrease in market share of Apple Inc. and to regain the market share Apple will have to come up with Smartphones with either a very innovative technology or at a lower price point. Apple can start Assembling and manufacturing their mobile phones in China which can allow them to significantly reduce the price of their products and hence be competitive again in the market of smartphones and regain its market share.

The impact of these trends on the business operations of Apple Inc has led to reduced demand, Designed for Dump product designs and the perception of the Apple phones as a luxury over a commodity leading only a select few prefer Apple and more price-conscious consumers preferring their low-cost alternatives which are as good as Apple in many facets.

These are the impacts and the strategies Apple can use to regain its market share in China.
