ER diagram is a diagrammatic representation of entities,attributes of entities, and relationship between entities.

Consider the following case:
A company has many employees.
company has a HR department to manage these employees.
the job of employees is to manage the products.
so there are following entities.
a)Company
attributes : registration number,co. name, co. address
b)HR department
attributes :name of head of department
c)Employee
attributes: name,emp-id,designation,salary
e)Product
attributes; price,name,product-id
