Answer #1

Analysing the interviewee's responses ,

It has been found , that the most integral part in interviewees response is that an Interviewee needs to be a critical thinker in his approach. He should be firm in the values and beliefs which he makes the bases to demonstrate his position and perspective. He should maintain a confident stance against the confused question's being asked.
A well aware and knowledgeable personality , who knows about the tactics used in the interview uses problem solving approach to the scenarios presented to him and comes up with a conclusion after a thorough evaluation of alternatives.
He looks at the Pros and Con's of each alternative and then most profitable one is chosen.

The interviewee should support the responses with authentic facts and reveals their strengths which overshadow their weaknesses.

I learned that an interviewee should be firm , confident and transparent in the interview. He should possess sufficient knowledge about the field or position he is interviewing for. His approach should be polite but at the same time he should create impact through his aura and personality. His eloquency in speaking should satisfy and influence the interviewer. The proficiency in interpersonal skills, analytical approach, critical thinking and problem solving attitude can help a lot in acing it. He should represent himself as a risk bearer and adaptable to the dynamic environment.

Leadership responsibilities call for influencing the minds of followers so as to drive their efforts in a unified manner towards a common direction to fufill the organizational goals.
After analysing what i learned from my interview, i think leaders need to posses certain traits which i identified should be possessed by every leader to fufill his responsibilities and routine duties.
First ,being the efficient interpersonal skills, as leaders have from time to time communicate , convince and motivate his followers to follow his aforementioned direction and perform activities in the way he mentions. Thus i will try to gain knack at interpersonal skills to maintain such healthy relationship with my followers.

The second most important thing is that the leader needs to be a critical thinker, giving attention to details. He should stay wary of what is going around him and try best to turn it to one's advantage. I will try to adopt critical thinking by practicing it , i will become more observant and will develop reasoning for every action i perform.

The leader should be Risk taker. He should overcome fears for ruling over his followers. I will stay firm at my decisions if i believe they are going to bring right results no matter how much risk that involves. I will try to overcome my fears to be ready to face any challenge or complexity.

Consistency ; . I learned that a leader is successful only when he is consistent to his efforts. I will thus try to not get overwhelmed by set backs or failures, i will neither look back and develop a courage to always keep moving in order to gain trust of my followers and accomplishing the difficult tasks that seem to be challenging and intimidating. The leader should possess never giving up attitude.

The major differences between management and leadership:

Management is a body of individuals who are engaged with ensuring that the policies , procedures and framework are executed in the best possible manner through managing the operations effectively.
While as the leadership is an activity of inspiring, influencing and leading the followers in a direction that will get them the most benefits.

Management is thus the art of getting things done by others while leadership is the art of motivating and influencing others to do things.

Management is established through a formal and well organized structure while leadership is more of an informal activity.

Management has to perform various managerial function such as planning, organising, controlling while as leadership is just involved in directing the followers and showing them the right path to operate and ability to due distinguish between the right and wrong.

Management is referred to "Doing things right" while leadership is referred to "Doing right things"

Management's authority can be acclaimed by the position they hold and leadership's authority is determined by the virtue of his skills, abilities, knowledge and trust he earns.

Management is a wider term and holistic approach while as leadership is narrow term and Atomistic approach.

To be a good manager , one has to be good leader also.
While as leaders do not need to be managers.
