the model of healthcare is changing. today’s healthcare leaders and the leaders of tomorrow will need to run the business different than their predecessors -managing “value” and putting the patient at the center of the business strategies. how do you think the roles of healthcare leaders will change by the time you’re in your first leadership role? what new roles in healthcare administration might emerge in the next 10years that don’t currently exist now

The role of leadership in healthcare context will be very different by the time i get to my first leadership role because by that time, there will be changes in technology, new medical miracles or discoveries will occur, we as leader has to focus on patient's care at any cost because i think in future, laws related to heath care will be more strict where we has to be more alert of new legal system in future, we have to be more tech savy or have updated knowledge of technology like now telemedicine is trending so we have to have knowledge how this technology will go in future and how we can lead with this technology.

my role as leader will more than giving direction. i as leader will inspire my staff to be more hard working, inspired from their work and show their true potential to provide good patient care and lower the healthcare cost. I have to lead by example like if i have to go to rural and remote small villages to provide healthcare then i would go so that my staff could see that if i am interested in leaving my office and outreaching patient then they should be.as leader, patients should be our first priority which is currently not as many leaders in healthcare more focus on profitability.

According to me, i think new roles of healthcare administration might emerge in the next 10 years that don’t currently exist now is Technical role means, we see that leaders like managers or CEO is expert in management but have little knowledge of technology so i think in 10 years with changes in technology, it would become necessary to be expert in updated technology with having management and leadership skills at the same time.this is because technology is something which is very dynamic so leaders has to keep up with that all the time. second the legal role of administration or leader would be a new side because now a days, many leaders do not have sufficient knowledge of laws in healthcare that is why many legal suits comes up but in 10 years, administration should have knowledge and training for all the laws in healthcare.
