CROSSBREEDING is the mating of parents from 2 or more different breed.

a. Crossbreeding

It is the mating between the 2 different species, breeds or variety. Species is defined as a group of animals that can interbreed and produce fertile offspring. If the mating occurs within the same genus such as dog but the mating occurs between different species of dog such as poddle and retriever produces the offspring or crossbreed labradoddle.
