Compare and contrast how IaaS facilitates system redundancy and load balancing. Define and describe how you would use IaaS to facilitate redundancy and load-balancing for a business that is considering moving its infrastructure to the cloud
Iaas- Infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
It is a form of cloud computing that provides resources over the Internet.
That may includes hardware, storage, servers and data space or network components;
It may also include software.
Yes it facilitates redundancy and load balancing
The Internet contains a huge traffic. So the work load on the server becomes very high.
You can increase the performance of the server but it may also get loaded high in the future.
So another way is to create cluster of servers (multiple)
Load balancer can handle HTTP, SMTP, DNS, FTP, and POP/IMAP requests.
The load balancing is done through a hardware or simply it is a program.
A program is either software or a hardware
Software load balancing is worked on desktops, pc's.
Hardware load balancing is worked on a hardware boxes contains IC's(integrated circuits).
Handling a business infrastructure:
As mentioned above creating cluster of servers will decrease the load balancing, if the tcp requests are vey high, the load balancer splits the requests into multiple requests and get handles the requests by the multplie (clustered) servers.
So the work load on the servers decreases and the redundancy, load balancing decreases.

1. Define the knowledge repository and describe how to create one. 2. Compare and contrast tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge.
Select two individual health behavior theories. Compare and contrast the two theories. Explain how each theory works to include its benefits and challenges. Describe a public health issue that could be addressed by each theory. For the theories you have identified: Define each theory to include a brief overview of the history. Explain how each theory works by using a public health issue as an example. Discuss the benefits and challenges of using each theory. Compare and contrast the theories.
Select two social, cultural, and environmental theories. Compare and contrast the two theories. Explain how each theory works to include its benefits and challenges. Describe a public health issue that could be addressed by each theory. (Note: This list of theories mentioned in the text and lectures is not exhaustive. There are other theories outside of what was mentioned). For the theories you have identified: Define each theory to include a brief overview of the history. Explain how each theory...
Task back to top Read the DTGOV Case Study before you attempt this assignment DTGOV want to migrate some of their webservers to an IaaS instance in AWS to test their strategy. They understand that they need to do a full migration plan first, but they want to determine what sort of architecture would be required to support their web services. The web services are considered essential by both DTGOV and their users, so any web services must be: Readily...
1) Describe how a community is characterized and give examples of communities. 2) Define and differentiate between public health, population health, community health, global health, and public health system. 3) Compare and contrast personal health and community health and give examples of each. 4) List and describe the various physical factors that affect the health of a community. 5) List and describe the various social and cultural factors that affect the health of a community. 6) Describe what John Snow...
Compare and contrast one pair from the following concepts: alienation, anomie, and disenchantment. Make sure you define each concept. How are they similar? How are they different? The best answers will use more than one example.
1.Compare and contrast the actions of the parasympathetic and sympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system. Explain how the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems regulate the heart, digestive tract, respiratory tract, reproductive tracts, arteries, salivary and sweat glands, and portions of the eye. 2. Describe the nurse’s role in the pharmacologic management of patients receiving drugs affecting the parasympathetic nervous system. Identify which drugs would be used for paralytic ileus, GERD, and irritable bowel syndrome and explain the mechanism of...
How would you compare and contrast the impact of emergent capitalism on equality issues in the US in the nineteenth century to the impact of globalization and information technology on equality issues in the US in the twenty-first century?
How accurate do you think an "order of magnitude" cost estimate should be? Can you compare and contrast a business case for a software project with a business case for replacing windows in a house where energy savings are being used as the reason for replacement? in your opinion. Please not copy and paste from google.
Describe how DSS(Decision Support System) can illustrate the tenets of decision making. That is, identify how systems can provide support in a manner that is prescribed by the decisions-making literature covered in this chapter. What changes would you make to an electronic book catalog system (such as you find in your library) to transform it into a good DSS. Describe the DSS you might provide to Sherlock Holmes. Be sure to describe all components of a DSS. Consider a company...
