Conclude whether or not you believe the legal process for cases involving digital crimes is keeping up with the times and the advancement of technology. Explain one area of law that you believe should be improved when it comes to digital crimes, legislation, and investigations.

In the world of computing technology, computer-related crimes are also getting increased. And with the implementation of new security, attackers are still finding ways to get into your machine and exploit with the data present in it. So, it is really important for the law to stay up to date with the growing technological crimes specially cybercrimes.

Here one area where law regarding digital crimes, investigations and legislation should be improved and the area is the law enforcement resources. In order to investigate the cyber-crimes, it is important to enhance the law for cyber security such that prosecute or any other hacker won’t try to go for hacking. According to federal and state law enforcement, the investigation must be performed using powerful digital forensic tools such that all the evidence of attack must be presented before the judge and the punishment of cyber crime must be revised. The criminal should be sentenced as life imprisonment or have to pay huge amount of fine to the company.
