answer-

b- Discuss the relation between technology and structure with specific reference to Lean Manufacturing.

Lean manufacturing or lean production, often simply "lean", is a systematic method for the minimization of waste within a manufacturing system without sacrificing productivity, which can cause problems. technology and structure helps the organization to reduce the defects and errors in manufacturing so that waste is minimized.

Lean manufacturing is an effective tool for elevating the competitiveness of organizations based on the fact that each can find its own way of improvement. Technology improvement is considered to be one of lean manufacturing’s dimensions. Technology is defined as the usage and knowledge of tools, techniques, crafts, systems, or methods of organization, with the aim of solving a problem or creating an artistic perspective.

the structure of organization like layout, levels in organization are effective then defects in manufacturing would be less because tools and equipments would be handled easily by workers, the time for delivery of raw materials from warehouse to production plant would be less so cost would be minimized.

technology and structure improvement increases the efficiency and effectivness of workers due to which worker can do too much work in less time while maintaining the quality of products so we can say that the interconnection of technology and structure helps to organization to become lean in manufacturing.
