An influential culture can be a company’s most significant weakness
here, primarily if the culture promotes the exclusion of diversity.
It makes it hard for the manager to be able to reduce the values
present in the organization, especially when they need to reduce
discrimination.
MAKING INDIVIDUALS VALUE THEMSELVES
Sometimes discrimination and exclusion of diversity cause
individuals who are culturally different to face problems of low
self-esteem and therefore low levels of motivation to be a part of
the team. It is, therefore, necessary for a manager since it
affects the rate at which the activities relating to diversity
inclusion can be conducted.
FEAR OF CHANGE
Just like any change process, diversity inclusion brings about a
fear of change in the mind of the employees that do not involve
fully with the management. And therefore, are critical to the
success factors of a diversity inclusion process.
