01. Indianapolis 500 used gasoline as a fuel before but at the year 1964 a fetal 7 car crash happened on the second track on indianapolis and since gasoline is of more volatile nature than ethanol this resulted into disaster .

If methanol was used as fuel since it is less volatile it wouldent burned that easily

01. The calorific value of methanol and density is very low than gasoline.
