Right.ans. is - b. the quasi-independent variable.

So,Some similarities for both true and quasi-experiments participants will undergo some sort of condition or treatment and the studies end result or point of interest will be measured. Quasi-experimental designs do pose some differences though as they capture preexisting differences in the studies participants. The participants are not randomly assigned to treatments or control groups in quasi-experimental as they are in a true experiment and researchers must try to control the differences as much as they can since there is an unknowable factor in quasi-experimental.
